OWNER
Nicole “Nikka” Harvey
is the visionary for Zoo Mommy and handles all marketing, expansion, as
well as company management. In addition to studying Veterinary Medicine
she also holds Pet First Aid/CPR accreditations and spends every waking
moment with someone’s little baby in her hands.
Nikka has had all types of pets in her life since birth and
often practiced critical care on them while attending nursing school
in her first years of college.
OWNER
Jack Harvey
is a leader of the Zoo Mommy team with his “pet whisperer”
personality and patience. When not at his Product Owner job at
Edfinancial Services in Knoxville, he handles staffing, payroll,
general management of the company as well as updating the Zoo Mommy
website. In March 2008 Zoo Mommy purchased pet sitting
software allowing clients and the Zoo Mommy team to manage
profiles, scheduling, and much more.
Jack has been able to reach pets when all others
have failed. Having grown up with dogs in Africa and Norway as well as
the local indigenous creatures of the area, Jack is an expert when it
comes to day to day care and needs of pets.
Jack is the husband of Nikka who together travel
throughout Knoxville and surrounding areas providing elite care and top
professionalism to Zoo Mommy’s valued clients.
TEAM MEMBER
Jennifer M.
is another valued member of the Zoo Mommy team. Jennifer's dedication
to the animals in her care is evident and she goes the extra mile when
taking care of your babies. Jennifer says, "When I'm not working as a
nurse, mom and wife, I enjoy taking care of animals. Animals have
always been a part of my life and I have been fortunate to have through
the years iguanas, chickens rabbits, dogs and cats. I'm so thankful to
be able to meet so many different ones around Knoxville and to be able
to take care of them."
Jennifer has been a member of our team since June of 2007 and is wonderful. She mostly
serves the north and east parts of Knoxville.
TEAM MEMBER
Michelle M.
is
another valued member of the Zoo Mommy team. Michelle's bio and picture
are
coming soon and she just joined our team in July of 2008. She
will primarily take care of pets mostly in the Bearden areas
and west.
SEASONAL TEAM MEMBERS
 Jessica C.
is another valued member of the Zoo Mommy team. Jessica says "I have
always had a love for animals. I always had pets growing up and I can
not imagine living without one. My friends always make fun of me
because I am the one who always wants to pet any animal I see. I enjoy
working for Nicole because when I go to work everyday I get to do
something I love to do, which is taking care of animals.
We are so
pleased to have Jessica on our team. She is loves her job and loves
spending time with pets around Knoxville, primarily focused in the
downtown Knoxville area.
